Walshaw Sports Club U 11 Girls 5 - 0 Bolton U 11 Girls (Home win)

If Carling did match reports - it couldn't compare to this!

Today the girls did us proud, we won our match against Bolton 5-0.

Finally, all the training and hard work fell into place. The girls played brilliantly and at half time we were 2-0 up. 

This was uncharted territory for us, but the girls kept their composure and In the second half the girls continued their work rate and put another 3 goals into the net. 

Our goal scorers were Keri O'Loughlin (2) and Megan Dunford (3) and if it wasn't for the efforts of Bolton’s keeper the score could have been more!

I want to say thanks to everyone from the club who gave their support and watched this entertaining game.  Also thanks to Duncan and Danny for sorting out the pitch.

Thank you to all our parents for their continued support - we are looking forward to our next match against Mill Hill on Sunday (another home game).
