What will Bolton Wanderers provide?
Coaching Expertise.
There are 4 “A” Licence coaches at the Academy all of whom are coach educators. They are available to provide advice and guidance to partnership Club Coaches. In addition the Academy will provide: Level 1 – 3 FA qualification courses. Opportunities to purchase discounted football equipment. In service Academy & Partnership days. Goalkeeper Coaching. Opportunities to watch Academy training sessions. Shadow Squad Coaching – an opportunity for partnership club coaches to develop their skills in real mentored coaching sessions.
Sports Science
Bolton Wanderers are noted for their in house Sports Science programmes and the same advice and assistance available to 1st team players on issues such as diet and training regimes is available to junior players and coaches at our partnership clubs.
Access to Kits and Equipment
Subject to availability surplus Academy kit and equipment is available to partnership Clubs.
Presentation Evenings.
BWFC will make Academy scholars available for partnership Club presentation evenings.
Games against BWFC Academy shadow squads.
These can be arranged with partnership clubs at all ages from U9 to U16
Academy Training Facilities at Lostock.
This development is currently under construction (see artists impression below) When completed Wanderers will arrange an open day and tournament for partnership Clubs. In addition:Tournaments at various age groups organised by the Academy. Access to B.W.F.C. Physio assessment and home recovery programmes for injured players.
Tickets for Premiership Matches.
Watching Premiership football is an opportunity for junior players to learn. Wanderers will make tickets available to partnership Clubs to allow junior players to visit the Reebok Stadium to watch matches. Free and discounted price tickets for partnership Clubs. Access to the hospitality box at The Reebok stadium.
Fundraising Assistance.
Wanderers can assist with the provision of signed merchandise to assist partnership Clubs involved in fund raising.
BWFC Official Brand Logo.
Bolton Wanderers will permit partnership Clubs to use the official BWFC logo to promote the partnership agreement.
Players released by BWFC Academy.
Any players released by the Academy will be notified of the Partnership club arrangement and offered the opportunity to make contact with a partnership club.

A commitment to the partnership Club scheme.
Team Sheets
Managers are asked to be in a position to provide team sheets on request for BWFC scouts at any of your games.
Shadow Squad Commitment
Access to WSC players to take part in Academy shadow squad sessions if invited to do so by BWFC. All invites will be formal and in writing
Club Tournaments
One tournament a year to be hosted by the partnership Club.
Notifying The Academy
A commitment from Walshaw Sports Club managers to notify the Academy of any players (any age) that they consider worthy of assessment.
This includes Walshaw Sports Club notifying BWFC Academy of any interest shown in players by any other professional club.
Support from Walshaw Sports Club if BWFC Academy seek to sign a Walshaw player.
Walshaw team managers to notify the BWFC Academy of outstanding players from opposing teams.
Charter standard commitment.
The partnership Club to maintain Charter Standard status and principles.
