Goals from Elliot Hailwood, Jordan Lazenbury, and a dramatic last minute winner from Kyle Walmsley sealed their place in the prestigious Leyland final in March 2012.

August Bank Holiday Monday 29th August 2011
It’s a round robin tournament featuring Walshaw, Elton, Darcy Lever & Totty St Johns with the top 2 teams playing in the final. 1st game will be at 12 noon, with the final planned for 6.30.
There will be a BBQ, tombola, face painting, games for the kids and the Bar will be open all day for the adults !!!
Please come along to what should be an fun day for all the family with some excellent cricket being played between some fierce local rivals.

Freezing Weather
With the weather claiming most games again today I have taken the decision to utilise the Astro turf at the club and get our teams out playing again.
The Astro Turf is available most Saturday afternoons and most of the day Sunday, therefore I am making available to all teams to use the pitch whenever it suit's them, so we don't have multiple booking's and teams turning up unannounced it is essential that you book your slot through Chris the club manager. He is available on the club telephone number 01204 882448 most evening's except Thursdays.
You must book your slot and it's available day light hour's, booking through Chris is the only way we can do this.
We are very fortunate to have this facility and we must make use of it, why not have a training session then watch a game in the club with your team it's great for bonding and a great way to support our wonderful club.

General Pre Season News 2010 -
We are delighted to announce that we have the use of a pitch at Bury Grammar School for the forthcoming season, we are the first ever club to be invited to use the excellent pitch's at Buckley Wells and I must express my thanks to David Harrison at BGS and Andy Pickford for their support in gaining this first class facility.
The pitch will be used by our Under 14s (Ash) and Under 15s (Andy) For Sunday football.
John Scully has left the club in the close season, John and his family wrote me a very nice letter outlining the need for a change. In John's very own style he thanked everybody at the club for many happy years. John and his son are "going on loan" to Woodbank.
I wish Josh and John all the very best and thank him for his loyalty and friendship to everybody at WSC and we hope to see him very soon.
Mini Soccer pitch's, We will have four pitch's for next season two at Sycamore Rd and two at Town Meadow.
Andy & myself have decided we need to bring in a groundsman to oversee Town's Meadow so to this end we have asked Daniel Holland to ensure that the pitch's are cut and marked each Friday and to ensure we don't encounter any dog mess.
AGM, This will take place on Sunday 1st August at 7.30pm at the club, it is critical that every team is represented by a manager or assistant.
