Walshaw Sports Club U7 v Pennine Juniors Black U7

What a great morning for a game of football. The weather was ideal, the pitch in fantastic condition and the boys from both teams produced performances to match!!!

The game was tight from the kick off with Pennine demonstrating how well organised they were. Walshaw had some good chances to take the lead but couldn't find the finishing touch.

Pennine went ahead with a well worked goal down the right but didn't stay in the lead for long. Michael produced another fine display down the right wing illustrating the benefits of looking up, he made a great cross for Bailey to finish in the corner.

Walshaw had the majority of the possession in the second half with good efforts on goal from JJ and Samuel but we couldn't find the winning goal. Pennine were always dangerous on the break but with Nathan and the impressive Captain for the Day, Alex at the back their chances were limited. Both Jon and I will be bald before the end of the season if this game is anything to go by!

Parents Man of the Match was Samuel. / Crowd Attendance 27 !!
