Match Report - Roach Dynamos U7 v WSC U7

 

Thursday 6th May 2010 Roach Dynamos v WSC (League Match)

In the final league game of what has been a brilliant first season, the team took a trip to a blustery Roach Dynamos.

 

A strong side, missing the long throw ins and accurate passing of Samuel, were hoping to finish with a win, but Roach were determined to make it difficult.

 

Kicking into the wind in the first half Walshaw tried hard to break the deadlock with Bailey and William going close. It was Roach who scored first though, with a curling shot into the bottom corner - a very good goal.

 

It wasn't long before WSC were level though, with Bailey scoring another great goal in what has been a season full of amazing finishes. The second goal just wouldn't come though and it was Roach who again took the lead with some creative play down the left.

 

The second half was a different story though, WSC proving far too strong with the wind behind them. Great goals from William (with a great shot) and 2 more from the resurgent Michael quickly turning the game around. Bailey added his second before taking over in goal to give Luke a run out.

 

With Han and Alex providing the solid base at the back, JJ and Elijah (who both went close to scoring) ran riot down the wings and it was thanks to a great pass from Elijah that Man of the Match Nathan scored the final goal to close the season.

 

Well done boys for a great match.
