Chadderton G’hoppers v WSC JFC U7

Away.

The under 7's first outing away from home against a well established and well organised side. The first half was a tight affair with Walshaw making the most of the chances but not taking them.

Chadderton took the lead midway through the second half as they pounced on a goal kick. All credit to the boys who had not gone behind in any of their pre-season friendlies.

They kept their heads up with William scoring a great equaliser. Credit to both teams for a great game.

Man of the Match was JJ.

WSC JFC U7 v. Unsworth

Home.

Our first home match and eagerly awaited with a chance for the boys to show their skills on the fantastic home pitch and for Jon to test his skills as a Manager!

Once again the team were up against a well organised side but they soon took the lead with Bailey scoring the first soon followed by Samuel to make it 2 nil.

The second half was a tight affair with Unsworth showing great determination in pulling a goal back before Bailey added a third.

Unsworth scored a second and a nail-biting finish ensued.

Man of the Match was William.
