• A non - competitive friendly atmosphere. We aim to keep everything fun.

• A full Walshaw SC training kit with a different design every season based on the club colours of white, black and maroon. This season it will be predominantly black. WSC rain jackets can also be purchased.

• The opportunity to progress through to the clubs competitive football teams. The FA does not allow children to play competitive football until they are in the U7 age group i.e. they are still 6 as at midnight on 31 August. We plan to form two Under 7s teams every season but this is dependent upon enough parents coming forward to manage and coach the teams. Please speak to Dave if you would be interested in assisting with one of the teams to be formed from this year’s Under 6s. A place in one of the squads cannot unfortunately be guaranteed as the league restricts the sizes of squads. If required, we will hold a series of trial matches in April.

• The opportunity to join a vibrant and friendly club that offers both social and other sporting activities e.g. senior football, junior and senior cricket, ladies rounders. Family social membership is just £20 a year.

• The Future Stars subscription for the full season is £60. Having been held for the last two seasons, this has unfortunately had to be increased by £5 due to rising kit and equipment costs. The Future Stars project is not run for profit and all of the subscription fees are used to cover the costs of pitch maintenance, kits, balls & equipment, trophies and the Xmas party.

• The subscription includes the full WSC training kit, junior membership of the club, the Christmas party and the end of season trophy presentation. Please note that training kits can only be issued upon receipt of the subscription. Cheques should be made payable to Walshaw Sports Club.

Future Stars provides ...

• Regular Saturday morning coaching sessions for young players (boys and girls) delivered by coaches qualified to at least FA level 1.

All of our coaches are volunteers and devote their time every Saturday morning simply for the love of the game and the enjoyment of passing on their knowledge and skills to your children.
